We maintain high ethical standards that are rooted in our strong set of values and cultural identity. The way we act influences our ability to do business and continue to deliver long-term sustainable growth, both within and outside Tanzania — that is why we promote transparency in our interactions, as well as inclusive, two-way dialogue.
As a publicly listed company, we conduct out business transactions openly, maintaining appropriate records to emphasise transparency. We produce an Annual Report in line with UK regulations – and communicate regularly with our stakeholders to provide relevant corporate, financial, and operational updates.
Adhering to our Code of Ethics
We require all our employees, contractors, partners, suppliers, and advisors to abide by our Code of Ethics. Our rigorous due diligence process ensures we hold external parties to account before engaging in any activity, and that they are aware of the details of the Code.
Anti-bribery and corruption
We have a zero-tolerance stance on bribery or corruption in any form. Our robust policies ensure compliance with both UK and Tanzania law. Our policies cover our views on a wide range of anti-corruption practices, including the refusal to accept any form of facilitation payments or gifts. To ensure adherence, our staff receive annual anti-corruption and bribery training.
As an equal rights employer, we are proud of our inclusive and multi-national workplace. We consider applications for employment regardless of age, colour, disability, ethnic origin, marital status, nationality, race, religion or belief, gender, or sexual orientation. We promote the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and champion human dignity and individual rights. That’s why we are a committed equal opportunities employer with a determined focus to always avoid discrimination of any kind.
